My name is Leonard Popović, I am 30 years old and live in Zagreb (Croatia). My family includes two children that always make some show. I am graduated and employed Economist for the last ten years. Beside Aquascaping I am active at swimming, skiing and football. In short, sport and nature were always a part of my live.
I am creating Aquascapes for some 5-6 years, and it become my passion. It relaxes me and serves me as some kind of century from the reality. Until now I have made about 10 Scapes, all in the Nature style. My favourite plants are mosses and ferns as they does not require too much attention, but looks very nice. In general, all of my aquariums are easy to maintain and does not require much attention, because I look on Aquascaping as a hobby for relaxing and not for a hobby to serve. In my work I don't have much idols, but Takashi Amano and the whole Creative Aquascaping Union team, have surely made deep impact. I like to be on Aquascaping Internet forums, and I personally have lead some of them with my colleagues like Aqua-art (the biggest site of that king in our region). At the same time, I was glad to promote Aquascaping on my favourite site "Akvarij.net". Each year, I attend on a few competitions, but not with great results so far.
